Island Oasis is an industry leader in commercial blended ice machines with installations in bars, restaurants, and fast food chains all over the world. When they needed a product development partner that could help them achieve their goals of customer satisfaction and 100% field reliability, they turned to PI.

PI’s unique blend of user-centered design and in-depth engineering capabilities was a perfect fit for Island Oasis. Over the course of several years, PI worked in tandem with the company to optimize manufacturing and materials for their existing line, as well as develop a suite of new products that helped Island Oasis expand their reach into new food services venues and form valuable strategic partnerships.

The SB-2100 with its modular Rinse & Scale station is just one example of the output of the partnership. Combining ingredient weighing, shaving, blending and cleaning into a single location with simple user interface has made the SB-2100 Rinse & Scale a staple for Dunkin Brands and other food retailers.
